The team

We work for Resource Futures, an accredited B-Corp, working to minimise the impact of consumption on the environment now and in the future.
The CAG Somerset project is run by a small team of dedicated staff, supported by a team of specialists from Resources Future’s head office. Our team all live and work in Somerset and are passionate about supporting locally based community action.

Jinny Uppington – CAG Somerset Project Lead

Headshot of Jinny, our CAG Somerset Lead in front of a background of leaves.

Jinny is our CAG Somerset Lead and brings over 15 years’ experience working in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Somerset. She specialises in Community Development and has a successful track record of building strong community networks and strategic partnerships.

She has led and developed county wide projects large and small, which are still flourishing today, including managing the Village Agent team and Somerset Diverse Communities. She is passionate about supporting others to be the best they can possibly be. She firmly believes that enabling people to come together to act on what is important to them achieves meaningful results at a grass roots level. This is especially important when the climate crisis facing us can seem insurmountable, but real solutions can be generated collectively locally. Looking forward speaking to groups and individuals about how we can support each other to take community action.
