About our group

Bridie’s Farm CIC [Glastonbury Food and Regenerative Farming Centre]

The intention is to restore the land through agroecology & regenerative agricultural practices and to build new cultural narratives for how we should live in the world. The project will give our community the opportunity to learn how to grow their own food in a natural environment which will improve mental well-being, help to reduce food poverty and contribute to a happy, healthier more connected community.

Through the use of agroecological agricultural practices such as permaculture, natural agriculture, regenerative farming and agro-forestry, we aim to share with our community and beyond that, non-invasive ways of working with our environment can produce abundant food crops for our local community whilst supporting habitats for wildlife and increasing biodiversity.

Bridie’s Farm is based in Glastonbury, Somerset. If you are interested in being involved with the project please get in touch. More information on www.bridiesfarm.org.uk. Follow us @BridiesFarm on Instagram and Facebook.

In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
