About our group

Our team of fixers are waiting for you at the Art Bank, Shepton Mallet, on the second Saturday of every month from 11am to 1pm.  We are ready to help mend electrical and mechanical items, we do woodworking repairs, we fix bags and clothes, and we also mend jewellery.  Everyone is welcome and you can get delicious coffee, tea and coffee while you wait.  Repairs are done free of charge, though we’re happy to take donations which go towards our running costs.

Don’t throw broken things away – give them a new lease of life and help to reduce waste. For every repair an average of 24 kg of CO2 emissions are saved, helping to limit climate change . And you also don’t have to buy a replacement item!

We look forward to seeing you.

A picture of a community allotment. wooden planters are in neat rows with small paths between them. Within the planters are different green leafy plants of varying heights. In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
