Join us for an Adults First Aid workshop with the Community Education Co-ordinator from the British Red Cross

Did you know 85% of adults would not know what to do if someone collapsed and was not breathing? Let’s decrease that number and give you the skills and confidence to help in a first aid emergency! This 1.5hr interactive first aid workshop run by experienced British Red Cross educators will help you to:

  • perform essential first aid skills using everyday objects
  • build confidence and willingness to help in a first aid emergency
  • assess and manage risks to make informed choices when helping others

Some skills your educator may cover with you include first aid for bleeding, burns, choking, head injuries, broken bones, seizures and first aid for someone who is unresponsive and breathing or not breathing.

Please note that this is not an accredited workplace course but you will receive a certificate of learning.

A picture of a community allotment. wooden planters are in neat rows with small paths between them. Within the planters are different green leafy plants of varying heights. In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
