We could not be more excited to see Glastonbury Repair Café ‘s new venture the Re-Use shop come to life this Saturday with it’s launch in Glastonbury @red.brick.building

The aims of the new venture are;

  • Keep items out of landfills by reducing waste and avoiding unnecessary recycling breakdowns.

  • Rescue and restore items from local recycling centers, then offer them at affordable prices to everyone in the community—giving things a second life.

  • Show how the circular economy works—saving money and cutting emissions by reducing the need for new manufacturing.

  • Create a fun, welcoming space where people can browse, donate, or shop—bringing the community together.

🕙10am -12 midday bring some cash and have a look around – tea and cakes will be for sale too 🍰☕
They are also looking for more volunteers to support the venture so if you feel you have a skill or idea then please pop along or email Laura on lb.hpc3@gmail.com

A picture of a community allotment. wooden planters are in neat rows with small paths between them. Within the planters are different green leafy plants of varying heights. In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
