First Aid and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) Training
Sunday, 02 November @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
CAG Somerset knows the importance of keeping our community members safe and the vital role that community action groups play in this. We want our network members and volunteers to feel confident that they have all the skills to act in situations that may arise.
We have teamed up with Alex from First 4 Aid training to provide a basic first aid and AED (Automatic External Defibrillation) use training session. The session will cover
- What to do in an emergency
- First aid for the unconscious casualty
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Heart anatomy and conditions to include Heart attack/Angina/sudden cardiac arrest
- Automatic External Defibrillation (including AED use)
- First aid for someone who is choking
The session is 4.5 hours long and we will have a 30 minute break mid way for lunch. Please bring a lunch with you as this will not be provided.
Hot drinks (and a few biscuits of course!) will be provided.
If you have any questions about this session please email maxine.anderton@resourcefutures.co.uk
