Join Axevale Climate Action on bank holiday Monday 4th May for the Axevale Greening Festival

There will be a range of fantastic stalls selling local, eco friendly products, several great speakers and information on how to support the environment.

Refreshments will include the Haverslice pizza van, sandwiches, cakes, hot drinks and Ad Astra cider and apple juice. This will be a family friendly afternoon with fun activities for children and a facepainter.

Stalls open 1-5pm with the bar staying open later. Note some stalls may be cash only.

You will have the opportunity to learn about solar energy, butterfly conservation, green gardening and the Cheddar Hydro project with

talks, which at time of going to press, include:

– Alison Uren – The Wildlife of the Avalon Marshes

– Richard Miller – Cheddar Hydro project

This promises to be a fun-filled event for all the family based in the beautiful Ad Astra Cider Orchards and Barn.

Axevale Climate Action is a local group which hopes to address ongoing climate challenges. We meet regularly to discuss how we can support our environment and we also run local conservation events in our community.

We support and help community action groups who focus on re-use, repair, reduction, sharing, surplus food or composting.
