Join CAG Somerset for a ‘Meet the Funder’ collaborative session with Somerset Community Foundation, Somerset Council and SUEZ recycling and recovery UK. This session is free for everyone.

Now in its second year, Somerset Council and SUEZ’s joint Waste Not Somerset Fund, will re-open in August. The fund is awarded to community groups that have aims to reduce and prevent waste. It can be used to promote re-use, repair, and recycling within our communities.

During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to ask representatives from Somerset Council, SUEZ and Somerset Community Foundation any questions about their funding programme.

There will also be opportunity to hear about other grants and initiatives with Somerset Community Foundation.

Additionally, CAG Somerset will be launching the next round of their small grants fund, which is provided with thanks to Somerset Council and SUEZ.

The CAG Somerset team can provide support on how to apply for this funding and offer guidelines on the type of projects funded.

This is a free, online event that is open to all. Booking is essential via the link below.

In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
