About our group

A Community Fridge is an amazing way to reduce food waste. There will be a certain amount of fresh food from supermarkets and we are hoping too that individuals will donate any surplus food.

This is not another Food Bank although we hope that people in need will regularly visit. People do not need to be referred, but simply need to come along and help themselves to a bag full of food.

Our Community Fridge is sited in the car park of our Church Hall and is open on:

Tuesdays 9.30am – 4pm

Wednesdays 9.30am – 4pm

Fridays 9.30am – 4pm

Sundays 9.30am – 4pm

If you are interested in helping in some way please contact us at fridge@stgchurch.co.uk

A picture of a community allotment. wooden planters are in neat rows with small paths between them. Within the planters are different green leafy plants of varying heights. In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
