About our group

Minehead repair café are based in Sacred heart church hall, Townsend road – next to Texaco garage. Some parking is available to enable drop off of larger items.

They have a skilled team of repairers who can fix clocks, jewellery and willow items, electrical items and textiles. They even have a sharpening service to keep those garden shears in good working order. They however cannot accept clothes alterations, repair watches, mobile phones, laptops, electric bikes/scooters or mobility scooters and white goods such as washing machines.

They will be running once a month between 10am and 12 noon and although repairs are free, but will accept any donations to help keep the café going. They have a delicious range of cakes, tea and coffee and can only take cash payments currently so don’t forget to bring your change!

Please follow their Facebook page to stay up to date or pop them an email if you feel you could support them in any way.

A picture of a community allotment. wooden planters are in neat rows with small paths between them. Within the planters are different green leafy plants of varying heights. In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
