About our group

Welcome to the Coleford Climate Action Group (CCA), a passionate community dedicated to addressing the pressing environmental challenges of our time. Nestled in the heart of the Mendips, our group is driven by a shared commitment to creating a sustainable future for our local community and beyond. With a focus on grassroots initiatives and collaborative efforts, we believe in the power of collective action to make a meaningful impact on climate change.

Our steering group has members from all walks of life, united by a common goal of promoting environmental awareness, implementing sustainable practices, and advocating for positive change. From organising informative community events to hosting educational workshops on retrofit and resource use, the Coleford Climate Action Group strives to empower local people and inspire a collective sense of responsibility towards the environment.

Join us as we work together to foster a greener, healthier planet for current and future generations.
