DESCRIPTION:We are a group of local volunteers\, bringing together our skills to share. We aim to reduce waste and the need to buy new items by mending bikes\, appliances\, clothing\, clocks and all sorts of other things. There is also the opportunity to learn new skills as repairers are able to teach how to maintain and mend. Our team of keen bakers offer a delicious selection of cakes and biscuits which makes the whole event a thoroughly enjoyable community gathering.

Sewing Hub isn’t just a place to drop off your sewing repairs\, but a weekly group where you can come and learn new skills\, try your hand at sewing or learning how to change a zip\, or take up your jeans\, repair a seam etc. Alter curtains It’s a space and chance to learn a new skill and save money by repairing your clothes\, or maybe a project such as making a new top?
