DESCRIPTION:Sunday 2nd November 202510am-3.30pmBurnham on Sea Community Centre\, TA8 2ET \nCAG Somerset knows the importance of keeping our community members safe and the vital role that community action groups play in this. We want our network members and volunteers to feel confident that they have all the skills to act in situations that may arise. \nWe have teamed up with Alex from First 4 Aid training to provide a basic first aid and AED (Automatic External Defibrillation) use training session. The session will cover \n\nWhat to do in an emergency\nFirst aid for the unconscious casualty\nCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation\nHeart anatomy and conditions to include Heart attack/Angina/sudden cardiac arrest\nAutomatic External Defibrillation (including AED use)\nFirst aid for someone who is choking\n\nThis session is available to all volunteers of CAG Somerset members. Please book two spaces per group initially and we will release further spaces should they be available. DESCRIPTION:Our aim is to repair & reuse clothing etc instead of throwing away. Sewing Hub isn’t just a place to drop off your sewing repairs\, but a weekly group where you can come and learn new skills\, try your hand at sewing or learning how to change a zip\, or take up your jeans\, repair a seam etc. Alter curtains It’s a space and chance to learn a new skill and save money by repairing your clothes\, or maybe a project such as making a new top?
