Training and support

Our support is tailored to you, so please reach out and discuss your requirements with us
Day-to-day Support

We have a friendly and dedicated team who are happy to help you with specific enquires and 1-1 support. Please feel free to reach out to us via our Contacts page.

Training

We regularly run free-of-charge training courses for Network members. We are community group-led and the training we offer is tailored to the network’s requirements. For example, previous training opportunities include PAT testing training for repair cafés.  If you have ideas for training courses that will benefit your community group, please contact us and we can establish network demand and look into organising this for you.

Collaborate Sessions

We run regular ‘Collaborate’ sessions which enable peer-to-peer support and collaboration for groups working in similar areas to share ideas, troubleshoot challenges and find ways of working together and help increase impact.

These sessions provide a platform for group members who are more experienced in a specific activity to support those who are just starting out.

Skillshare Events

Our annual Skillshare event provides an opportunity for you to come together with other CAG Somerset groups as well as hear from organisations and groups outside of our network. It’s a chance to inspire and be inspired, to swap ideas, share information and expertise, connect with and learn from others, and plan your next steps. It is also an excellent opportunity for us to celebrate the individual and collective achievements of CAG Somerset network members.

Take a look at our calendar for forthcoming events and workshops.

A picture of a community allotment. wooden planters are in neat rows with small paths between them. Within the planters are different green leafy plants of varying heights. In some planters are canes growing peas. All plants appear to be seasonal summer vegetables. To the back right of the image are some sheds and the community allotment continues right through the image
